So, two weeks ago some members of the Elders' Quorum came over two visit Justin and I just to get to know us and welcome us to the ward. One of them asked me what my job background was and then practically offered me a job at his Real Estate company. So, the next day I went in and started working. I'm mostly in charge of keeping track of all their properties and any changes in price. I keep all their paperwork together and try to keep them organized. I'm only working there about 25 hours a week, which is great for me. It lets Justin and I spend more time together on Mondays and Tuesdays, and then I work on Wed, Thurs, and Fri during the day while Justin is catching up on his sleep from his night job.
Justin still has yet to be given a calling. I'm beginning to think he just won't get one. I guess that means he can just help me prepare my primary lessons every week.
I've also been cooking a lot still and I'm really enjoying it. Besides the fact that Justin loves it when I make a yummy meal, I'm getting to try a lot of new kinds of food I've never had before. The other day I made a Santa Fe Chicken with lots of green peppers and tomatoes with paprika, yum, it was so good. Justin didn't like it as much as I did because he's not a huge fan of spicy foods, but it goes on my yummy list. Last night I made Orange Marmalade chicken. ooo, that was yummy too, I'm getting hungry just thinking about it!
