Another New Calling!

So, last week was my first day teaching music in Primary, and I actually had a really good time. I'm still nervous about it, and I worry that I am going to run out of creative ideas to keep the kids' attention, but at least I'll have fun, right?
This past Sunday (my 2nd week in the calling) I got really sick and had to stay home. I'm still recovering, and it's not fun. But, Justin got a new calling. He is now the financial clerk for the ward. The poor guy...I'll explain.
Justin works nights on Thurs, Fri, and Sat, and every other Wed. So, Sunday mornings he gets home at 6 am, having already been up from about 3 pm or so Saturday afternoon. Then we go to church at 8:30, so of course he doesn't get any sleep in there. He's been managing pretty well, although I have to keep him awake during sacrament meeting sometimes (we have sacrament meeting last). When we get home, I fix a really quick lunch and then he sleeps for about 3-4 hours until I make him wake up so that I can spend some time with my husband who I basically haven't seen for the past 3-4 days.
But now, he'll have to stay at church an extra 1-2 hours to do all the financial stuff. He's tough, he can do it, but it'll just be hard. I'm proud of him for accepting the calling though, because he knew it would be hard. This past Sunday he was there for an extra 3 hours and when he came home, he had to make me a lunch of chicken noodle soup and make sure I was okay before he slept. Poor guy. I love him so much. He's the greatest and I'm so lucky to be married to such a wonderful guy.

WOW.
That is some serious stuff. Justin's almost better than I am at functioning with minimal sleep...
I know how hard it is to do that. It's not fun.
Bravo, Justin. Bravo!
Good luck to both of you in your callings!
