Mormon Tabernacle Choir!

I am so lucky! My wonderful husband took me to the Mormon Tabernacle Choir concert at Red Rocks Amphitheater in Denver on the 29th. It was so wonderful.
At first I was a little miserable because we had to walk up from the lower parking lot - it took about 30-45 minutes to walk up all the steps and ramps from ground level up the the theater. Needless to say, I was quite exhausted by the time we found our seats. We were on row 56- right in the middle with a straight shot towards the choir.
When the concert started, they announced (and we had already heard a rumor) that the Prophet was there!!! Pres. Monson stood up and waved and I got a picture of him, but it was from really far away.
So, the concert was wonderful and I just feel even more determined to move to Utah and join the choir!

Thanks for sharing your experience. I had no idea it took so long to climb up!

Choir auditions are held only once per year, and are a 5 month, three step process. Materials and requirements can be found on the official Choir website during July.

I can get you all the info you need for auditions into it. There are 5 ladies in my ward who currently sing in the choir.
Way fun that you were able to go!
