New Things

So, it's been a while since I've posted anything and a lot has happened. This past Sunday Justin FINALLY got a calling. He is the new teacher for the 9 year old class in Primary!!! :) I think that's so funny. Bad news is though, now that we're both in Primary, we are going to have no idea what's going on in the ward with adults. At least all the kids will know who we are. Oh well.

Justin's sisters and mom came over this weekend and we had a Girls Night Out. We went and saw Mamma Mia and had mexican food and then spent the night at my apartment. We went thrift store shopping the next day and ate a lot of ice cream, a lot of ice cream.

Two weeks ago, Justin's sister Jamie and I went to the John Michael Montgomery concert. I got tickets from work and it we had a really fun time. Justin had to work, so he couldn't go with me. I just had to settle on texting him during the love songs.

Today, Justin taught me how to crochet. I know how to use the big circle things to make scarves and hats, but i've always wanted to learn - and it just so happens I married an expert. It's a little weird that he knows and I don't, but he's a good teacher so hopefully I'll get better.

Justin is getting used to his night shift at work. He's not as tired in the mornings and has gotten his sleeping schedule down. I make 2 meals for him to take and eat on his breaks (since it's a 12 hour shift), and he gets home at about 6:30 am. He usually stays awake while I finish sleeping until 7 or so. Then we eat breakfast and I get ready for work. I leave about 8:45 and he sleeps until about 4:00 when i get home from work. Then we eat dinner and he leaves for work at 5:40 pm. And the cycle continues...I miss him on those days. I feel like all our time together is spent getting ready for our next commitment. We don't really get to spend time together. Hopefully this schedule won't last for too long.
